Self-Portrait.
Perceiving oneself through a self-portrait. The endeavor to capture one's image in a fleeting moment. The portrait is deconstructed into countless parts, resembling patches that merge into an abstract canvas. However, the image contains only the external appearance of the author. To avoid a subjective viewpoint, the technique of 3D scanning and digital printing was chosen.
The work is about the multifaceted nature of identity. Each textile element represents a fragment of self-identification, disjointed yet simultaneously harmonious, depicting how the artist perceives themselves through the sum of these elements.
